About NBT Ventures

NBT Ventures is a research team composed of Robert Poor and his colleagues.

We have watched how computer networks and voice networks have become important elements in our lives, shaping the way we work, play, communicate and learn. We believe that device networks will become an equally strong phenomenon in our lives.

Our role, then, is to act as the midwives for device networks — to grow the technology, expand the markets, and and ultimately see their incorporation into the global network we call the Internet.
